My name is MISS SUKI. I have been interested in psychology since middle school. I also like children very much. Whenever there are children around, I always play with them.

I chose to study psychology from secondary school to university. My first job was also related to children. Combining my interest in stage plays, I went to different social welfare organizations and schools in Hong Kong to help children who needed emotional assistance and teach them English through drama. I met children with different developmental delays, which made me want to help them more directly and effectively. So, I started my journey of behavioral therapy in 2008. Children are part of the family. In order to more comprehensively assist children and families in need, I completed a master's degree in family therapy and became an internationally registered behavior analyst (Board Certified Behavior Analyst®) (BCBA®) in 2014.

In the past 16 years in behavioral therapy, I have taught children aged 18 months to 14 years old. Some of them have Autism Spectrum Disorder, Attention Deficit Disorder, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, Speech Delay, Global Delay, or behavioral problems.

Now, I am also a mother, which allows me to understand parents’ feelings more deeply and help every family more comprehensively and effectively.

Why choose ABA THERAPY HK

Although it is not difficult to find registered behavior analysts (BCBA) in the market, many of them are inexperienced and may not have enough practical experience to deal with the characteristics of different children and family needs. At ABA Therapy HK, Miss Suki is not only a registered behavior analyst, but more importantly, she also has 16 years of experience in teaching children with autism, hyperactivity, other developmental delays or other behavioral problems.

Many behavior analysts who lack practical experience think that applying ABA is just following the book, and that it works like a machine. Can the children who have been trained apply what they have learned in the natural environment?

The golden period for children to receive training is before the age of 6. Time is very precious, and parents must want to choose the best for their children.

"Miss Suki is definitely the angel of our family. Hengheng likes her very much, and she has improved the quality of life of our family. Hengheng can go to the bathroom by himself now and is willing to let me wash his hair. His self-care ability has greatly improved.

Miss Suki taught Hengheng to connect with the outside world. Now Hengheng can follow adults in movements, singing and dancing, and knows to look people in the eye. Most importantly, he has learned to express himself with words, so it is easier for us to understand what he wants. He no longer cries and makes a fuss like before.

I used to be afraid to take him out, but with the help of MIss Suki, I can now take him everywhere to play, and our whole family is very happy. "
